MCU DR Backstory Ideas:

You are free to use any of my backstories for any of my DR's and if you want you can even script me in your DR (that would be so cool), if you do script me in please I beg of you tell me about it I want to know. You can also adapt the MCU ones for X-men to but i've never watched it yet so I don't really know the characters but yeah.

 

• Your from an alien planet (you can make cool ones on planet maker) and you are the child of two scientists on your planet. There has been a world war that has been going on for almost 7 years between the two continents on your planet.  The planet is a very advanced society and in order for both sides to have power to fight the war, both sides have been drawing energy and power from your planet's core. This has been slowly eroding away the stability of your planet as the core became very unstable. Your parents realized this and tried to bring it up the the council (that's like the government on your continent), but they blew it off and did not listen to your parents. Your parents kept insisting on that they stop drawing energy from the planets core but they didn't believe them. Your parents were able to read the signs to know when the core was about to become unstable enough for a world catastrophe to occur, but they refused to tell you about it because they did not want to worry you. Due to the war there was a shortage of ships or escape pods but your parents were able to pirate one from the other continent that you were fighting against. So as they saw the signs that the core was about to become unstable, they put you in the escape pod. On your planet the oxygen levels are at a very heightened level and they knew that the only planet that you might be able to survive is Earth. So they sent you there, and the escape pod was only a single passenger. So as your parents rushed you in the pod and you were about orbit distance away from the planet, about to go into hyperspace you watched as you planet imploded, killing and destroying everything you've ever known including your family. (If you don't know hyperspace is basically a way of space travel that is faster than the speed of light). As the shock wave from your planet imploding is about to reach you, your pod jumps into hyperspace. In order for you to save oxygen your parents implemented a thing that basically would knock you out until you reached the certain coordinates, Earth (it was like a temporary staysis of sorts).  The trip to Earth in hyperspace is 4 days. So fast forward when you arrive you crash land in a big city (lets just say the U.S but you can adapt it). You crash landed due to the condition to the escape pod. You crash land into a building, the building breaking you decent and basically your escape pod gets stuck in the building. I scripted that it doesn't hurt or kill anyone because that would be bad, and that I can't accidentally kill anyone unless I intend to. So you stay unconscious for a few minutes before waking up. You stumble out of the rubble and you are very disoriented because, well first of all you just crash landed and second of all the oxygen difference (it is small but still has an impact). (I scripted the oxygen difference because I wanted drama of like me randomly passing out if I use my powers to much but thats all your choice bestie). Okay here's the twist so as the Avengers are called in to deal with you because well you're an alien, they pull up. And your scared asf because for one you just watched your parents and whole planet die. So you like warn them to get back. Now this is where you can chose, so you can be born with powers or here's my idea: due to the radiation from the imploding/explosion of your planet you get powers. Now this can be where you choose what powers but I will list some on this page. Now for me this moment is where my Leo sun does her best in dramatic entrances but you can change anything I don't really care. So like you hold your hands up to tell them to stay back when you accidently make one of the avengers fly back and hit a building. Your now super surprised and even more scared because you have no idea how you just did that. And now from here you can choose what happens. 

 

• This one is for the people who want to be overpowered asf 

Okay so basically you're from an alien planet. Your planet is basically again an advanced society of warriors. Now your one of the best ones and at this point in your backstory you don't have any special abilities rather then like breaking and entering, stealing, fight combat, but nothing superhuman (yet). So you have been fighting another planet in your solar system for centuries. Your planet has found out about the infinity stones that the other side is using to power their side of the war. Your sent to go and get them because your side has built and constructed a ship of sorts that can completely blow through the planet. You despise the war but your little sister is being held captive by your planet to keep you from leaving so you have to do what they say. You are sent on a one man mission to the opposing planet to get the stones and bring them back. So you have to do it and you make is on the planet and find where the stones are being held.  Its underneath their palace (on the planet they have royalty who control the planet). You make it inside the vault and like you of course as you were coming in disabled their security system and like took down 50 guards because you just can💅. So the stones are being kept in this containment unit that is like the one the wand from Descendants was being kept in.It's similar to that except it was only in one room from floor to ceiling.  Your people have made a glove that disrupts the force field thing so you can grab the stones without detection.  But you forgot to put the glove on and as you go to reach your hand through, it goes through it. You are super surprised and it didn't set off the alarms so your super confused. The stones start glowing and you are even more confused now. You are mesmerized by the glow of them and as you start to reach your hand in to touch them they all go into like a ball so if you touch one you touch all of them. You get curious and you touch the stones. Suddenly now you can't move your hand from touching them it's like cement and you scream as you are now absorbing the full force of the stones.  When all the power absorbed into you you are blown back and you hit against the wall as there is an explosion. You are completely unhurt somehow as the vault you were in was now a gaping hole of rubble. You stumble over to where the stones lay on the ground, but now they are gray. There is no color in them.  You are disoriented from the blast and you pick them up. You are in disbelief as that was your ticket in getting your sister so you can go. And now they are gone. Suddenly a guards run in and you quickly stand up and kick one but he goes flying back and goes through a wall. You are awestruck. You finish off the rest of them confused at your new abilities. You are a little scared of them. You lift your hand at the alarm in the corner. You then blast a hole straight into the palace above.  Basically your a badass and you go and blast and fight your way out of the palce to your ship and you go to your planet. As you were about to barge into the council room, you overhear two of them talking. One said how they were going to kill you once they got the stones, and that they were just using me to get them; that they had killed my sister weeks ago. Now basically you are very very very hurt and angry and now you kinda just go on a destroy streak. You then eventually escape your planet as you were going to be powered over by to many soldiers. You escape with a ship and crash land on a random planet you have no idea where. Now you are hurt and are unconscious. But guess who's on that planet? The Guardians of The Galaxy. They take you Earth (your still unconscious at this point) because Quill recognizes the tattoo on your wrist. (Your planet brands their soldiers). Quill refuses to bring you back there because he knows that they are bad news but the guardians all agree to take you to earth even though Rocket wants to turn you in because he believes that there will be some type of reward for you.  They are a bit skeptical of you which is why they are bringing you to Earth because well they know that your planet is known for its killer soldiers. Once they bring you to the Avengers, you can script what happens.  Now, if you want a little spice in your DR with this backstory: now both planets are trying to get you and capture you BECAUSE you are the lost heir to both planets and they both want you to do their bidding and control you. How are you the heir? Well because your royalty bloodline went dark for centuries which was foretold in the prophecy that foretold of a heir to both planets that could either destroy both, one, or fix everything and that they were given the power to absorb the stones because of their blood. And only one heir, you were able to do it and for centuries the royalty tried to see if they could absorb the stones but were unsuccessful, until you.

 

• Your the child of Poseidon and basically, there was a war between you and other beings whom lived in the ocean like you. (Kinda like Aquaman, but i don't watch that movie anymore because of a certain female actress). There were only two advanced sides of the war, only two peoples who were fighting. Because of how powerful both sides were, essentially both sides were completely wiped out and destroyed besides one person. You. The avengers were on the one ship that can fly (I can't remember for the life of me the name of it but Bruce says the line "They want me in a submerged pressurized container?") Now basically they were exploring an unnatural occurrences (Your whole underwater city being destroyed). That's when the Avengers find you unconscious floating in the ocean. With this backstory you have water powers and have the ability to communicate with animals, especially sea creatures, or you can also have elemental powers.

 

• During the battle of New York, you were taken captive by one of the aliens and taken back to their home planet. That ship that you were on was the only escaped and survived. Also during the battle of New York, the Avengers destroyed and killed your whole family and you watched it all happen. This stems your deep hatred for the Avengers, causing you to want to get revenge (a little villain moment we live for). So you have been experimented and tortured for years until they finally able to perfect you. They gave you elemental powers, EXCEPT here's the twist to them. You are only able to make supernatural creatures out of them. Like for example a dragon made out of fire and you are able to control these creatures with your mind and the only way to kill them is either if you are killed, you make them disappear, or if you are knocked out. Over the years of torture you were brainwashed to have an even deeper hatred for the Avengers and Earth then you originally had. They brainwashed you and convinced you that killing them and destroying Earth was the only way to get revenge. So that was your mission. You are sent to Earth to first kill and destroy the Avengers then Earth, and then even move on to Asgard if you weren't killed during destroying Earth. So you started in New York, so that the Avengers knew that it was the aliens that sent you. Now you have a big fight with the avengers and this is where you can be dramatic, not dramatic I don't care.  Now the Avengers un-brainwash you eventually (Im stubborn so it would take them a while for me). You reveal that the hatred you have was grown from the death of your family because of the Avengers, but they convince you that it was the aliens faults (it was the truth). If you want more drama, eventually you leave the compound (escaping) and you go and try to destroy the aliens and if you want you can have some kind of fight with Carol. 

 

• So here is a backstory if you want Bucky to be your DR love interest or I guess if you really wanted to you don't have to be with Bucky, you can just have a tragic and dramatic backstory because, let's be honest, we all thrive on that.  So basically you are, I guess you could call it Winter Soldier 2.0. After Bucky was a successful experiment, HYDRA decided to make another mass assassin but more advanced, you. So HYDRA kidnapped you from wherever you want I guess, that's your choice but they kidnapped you. They injected you with an enhanced super soldier serum that not only gave you the strength factor like in Bucky and Steve, but you also gained powers. Now you can choose what power you want BUT I came up with crazy awesome power that I feel is kinda unheard of. So basically you have the powers of the moon: you can control the tides, you can make natural disasters, control water, control gravity, and breath underwater. And if you wanted to add an extra ability with this you can add light manipulation, which means you can control light and bend it to also create solid things like knives for example, but you can bend light around you to become invisible, like the phases of the moon.  So basically they do the whole brain washing thing, all that jazz until your brainwashed (If it were me I'm a Leo, so I'm stubborn so it would take a while). And you also have trigger words, you can make them up or you can use these: “factory”  “crustation”  “lightning”  “wooden”  “sixteen”  “candle”  “airplane”  “fireplace”  “river”  “train station”. So Zemo breaks out of prison and he comes to a secret underground HYDRA facility, where you are being kept in stasis. BUT while you were being kept and like being brainwashed before Bucky broke free of HYDRA, you were being kept next to Bucky’s cell in your cell. I forgot to mention this but the reason why HYDRA used Bucky more than you is because they were afraid that they couldn't control you, because of both your power and you were very unstable and irrational due to the serum. So they would only use you for very big missions and more dangerous ones. But after Bucky broke free of being brainwashed and started to remember, they feared that you would do the same because how much more the serum affected you, they were afraid of you because they created a weapon that could potentially destroy HYDRA. So they put you in a stasis pod until you were needed and someone could developing something to control you without any chances of you breaking free. You were forgotten by most of HYDRA besides Zemo. And what did Zemo have a long time ago but refused to tell anyone that he developed it? A chip that would kinda clamp on your neck that enabled you to be easily controlled. So after he went to the HYDRA facility where you were being kept, he took you out of stasis and tied you up, and when you awoke he said your trigger words, which you were very receptive to. So now that Zemo had full control of you, he went to complete his mission: to destroy the Avengers and destroy any threats that stood in his way of complete control, and of course eventually take over the world of course, and he was going to use you. So over the next week he sent you to various big cities and government facilities and buildings to destroy them and put you on the radar of the Avengers (which was successful). The Avengers eventually connected you with the escape of Zemo. Eventually in another city they were able to predict where you were going next and that's the city and so when you came they were there waiting for you, ready to capture you. So after you put up a crazy fight, destroying things of course, and collapsing a building or two because why not, Wanda held you down with her powers while Nat like put you choke hold you until you lost unconsciousness. So nobody could ID you because you were wearing a mask of sorts or something that covered your face. It could be something like Bucky’s, I don't care. So when they took off, let's say it's a mask, while you're in one of those containment pods, Bucky recognizes you and all of his buried memories like flash before his eyes.    

  With this backstory like its gonna take a while for them to un brainwash you, and of course Bucky’s there to help you or whatever 🙄. You can also try to escape being kept wherever you're being unbrainwashed and try to kill the Avengers if you want to bring some spice. And now you can like have nightmares of your torture or whatever because why not and its more spice and drama.

  OH and an event you could script is someone accidentally says your trigger words so like now you can become a city destroyer and an assassin again and like now the Avengers will have to capture you AGAIN. And it could be like the once scene from Captain America The Winter Soldier, where steves like “I won't fight you,” except it’s you and bucky and bucky refuses to hurt and fight you. So there's more spice. 

 

Criminal Minds Backstory Idea:

• okay this is the backstory I use for my DR too but I think its good so yeah:)

So basically you are like 23 years old and you are obsessed with crime and profiling and your a pro at it despite not having no training. You are a pro at combat fighting, guns and weapons, profiling and criminology and phycology.  Okay so you're one of the cases of the team and this is why; so everytime they go to solve a case, you solve it before them and call anonymously like the team it could be different people of the team each time, I don't care. So you will be like "your unsub is *insert name*".  AND you basically travel to where the case is taking place and when like they are done with the crime scene you have a camera where you take photos as well. But one time you left behind a bracelet of yours at one of the scenes and the team went back and found it. Now this part could go two ways, you can choose what you want. Either they have a case focusing just on you to find you, or this: so the found your DNA on the bracelet so they think that you're the unsub because the current unsub they are looking for is a female so it fits. garcia finds that you are staying at a hotel or motel nearby and that's where your staying but not right the your somewhere else. You're case files of the cases that you made, along with you camera are in the hotel room and they go to your room and like now its a crime scene. So while you're somewhere else, let's say a diner Garcia locates you because of your cell phone. Also you hid the camera in the hotel room and taped it under the bathroom vanity but they found it.  So the team along with some cops pull up and your just minding your own business eating your meal. I forgot to mention this before but also in the files you made, there are the crime scene photos from the BAU, you hacked them to get the photos so that you could also like get an idea of the victimology and the unsubs m/o.  So then the phone rings for the waiter behind the counter and one of the team people are calling him to like see where I am because they cant see me where I'm sitting and they think I'm a serial killer. So you notice the waiter eyeing me and saying yes and you also notice his body language and tone of voice changing. Now you act normally but you glance out the window and see the FBI and police cars. Also you are armed (exercising your amendments, but you also have a permit to carry it.) You think that they found you because they made the connection to the hacking and you solving the cases before they do. You contemplate what to do. Then let's say Hotch is on the phone but it can be whoever, they tell the waiter to give you the phone and they do and say somebody wants to talk to you. You put the phone up to your ear and Hotch warns that you can either come out peacefully and not make a scene or we can arrest you by force. You decide to play dumb but you are confused why they are treating you like a murderer. You play dumb and ask what who is this. Hotch say the FBI and warns you to come out peacefully. Garcia then calls one of the others on the team and tells them that your carrying a gun because of my permit. You say okay that you will and Hotch asked if your armed. You say yes, continuing acting like you dont know whats going on. You hang up the phone and put it in you pocket. You then walk out the door with your hands up because one you don't wanna be shot two it would make you look guilty if you ran or did not comply.  Some of the team goes in to surround you but still staying back. They order you to slowly take your gun out and set it on the ground and slide it to one of the agents. You do it and slide it with your foot to JJ or another agent and they move in and handcuff you. So they take you to go get interrogated to try and get a confession out of you and this point they haven't found your files or camera yet (I think I forgot to mention that they find it later on). You of course don't give them anything, not even any body language or micro expression signs so they can profile you.  This goes on for hours but then another body is found and they know that they don't have the unsub but then they find your camera and the case files you made so they don't let you go.  Oh and you know who the unsub is you figured it out while eating btw but you aren't going to tell them because if you did then they would think that you are trying to deflect it onto someone else. Eventually two or one of the team comes in to interrogate you and they bring your camera and files in an evidence box. You say something like "putting an empty evidence box in front of me to try and get a confession, nice tactic".  But then they take out your files and you recognize them and the start opening them and laying them in front of you. They as how do you explain this, and you say something like "what? is it a crime now to be interested in public cases?" but then they pull out the camera along with the crime scene photos you hacked and stole. basically they go on to try and interrogate you more and now they know that you're the person who was solving the cases before them.  Hotch knows that you are holding back on something that you know something. So after more interrogation, he comes in along with JJ and they say that either you go to prison for hacking the Federal Government or you tell us what your hiding. So you tell them who the unsub for this case is and they ask why you didn't tell them before and you explain why. They go and get the unsub and they get a full confession out of her. Basically now it goes how liek Garcia was recruited except your not a tech person they want you part of the team.  For my script I scrited that I passed all the test necessary to join so I didn't have to go through boring training but yeah.

 

Harry Potter Backstory Ideas:

• Okay so your from a long dormant bloodline of wizards from Australia. But you don't know that neither does anyone else. But there is a prophecy that exists in the wizarding world, telling of a person in this bloodline who has the power to choose the fate of the wizarding world, you. You get to decide the fate of the wizarding and magic world. BUT here's twist, there is a 9th planet in our solar system before Mars. It is a habitable planet similar to Earth's conditions except it was a planet full of highly advanced wizards and witches and the reason that no one could find it, both the world's governments or the wizarding world was because these higher advanced witches and wizards put a cloak spell on the planet that essentially made the planet invisible and it also acted as a shield. Also only the most powerful heir could open the cloak and finally free the people of the planet. The reason they can't leave the planet themselves is because the king and queen who put the thing spell on were using dark magic and they wanted their people to be trapped for some reason so they made it that only a great powerful heir could break the spell.  Everyone in the wizarding world has heard of this planet. But centuries ago there was an heir to this wizarding planet who left the planet to escape an arranged marriage that she did not want to take part in. Also I forgot to mention that on Earth the people from the planet are immortal. So your mother, who was the escaped heir has been lived on Earth and eventually had you with another wizard. But the wizard that is your dad was somehow part of another dormant bloodline of powerful wizards so your basically the most powerful wizard or witch to exist.  Here's the catch, Voldemort knows about this planet and  wants to take over the planet because on the other planet he is immortal. So your father was killed protecting you from Voldy Moldy and allowing your mom to escape with you. Voldy was almost caught up to you guys but then your mom countered his spell that he was firing at you with a force field. She bent down and she put a spell on a locket that had something in it she put it around your neck and said it wont open until your 16th birthday and she made you promise that you wouldn't break the spell before then. Then she told you to run to an address she told you and you didn't want to but she made you. Then you watched as you were running away Voldy kill your mom.  Fast forward a little bit the address was a wizarding family that took you in until when you were 15 about to turn 16, you were sent to go to school at Hogwarts. Basically when the locket opens on your 16th birthday it is a note and a small key. Basically now you are on a treasure hunt kinda looking for what your mother told you to find in the note around Hogwarts. You didn't know that it was a portal leading to your planet, only one way unless the spell was broken around the planet.  Eventually it's revealed that you are the missing heir and now Voldy knows and follows you  through the portal when you find it. Now you have to battle him alone because on top of him being immortal on that planet, he can't be killed by any of them.  You destroy him and destroy the spell freeing your people. For this one you have the power to do magic without a wand and are immortal and apparently now can be the ruler of both the wizarding world on Earth and the planet.
